Hi Guys,
We have been extended an invitation to join Northfield EMS for a presentation on "Highway Safety for Emergency Responders." This is a REAL continuing education class and if you choose to attend you will be with Northfield EMS staff as well as EMS personnel from other services. This presentation is NOT an "Explorer Event" but you will be required to wear your Class C uniform. There are no dedicated advisors at this event, you will be attending for your own personal benefit.
BECAUSE this class is a professional presentation you will be expected to be a model of perfect professional behavior. You are representing the post, your advisors, Northfield EMS as well as the hospital itself. You do not need to sign up for this course. Arrive on time and plan on taking notes, shutting OFF your cell phone, and not talking during the presentation.
This is your first real chance at training side-by-side with current EMS personnel. Enjoy it!
